The Life Of Brady

My name's Brady Leatherberry.

I was born and raised in the motherland of Arkansas, where at a young age I was handed a trusty ol’ Zebco 33 and started flipping rocks for bait. That’s where my love for the outdoors began. Around 12 years old, I stumbled upon fly fishing, and suddenly it consumed me and everything I’ve ever thought about. Fast forward nearly 10 years, and I now spend my summers guiding in Colorado and my winters as the Head Fishing Guide in Little Cayman, while traveling any chance I get.

My passion for fly fishing has taken me to living in a van for four months in New Zealand, solely to watch big brown trout rise for dry flies. That same passion has driven me to many other places such as Belize, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Indonesia, and the list is far from complete!

Fishing has never been a hobby. It consumes me in the best way possible. It always has. When I’m outside in a wild place with a rod in my hand, nothing else matters. And, when I’m not outside with a rod in my hand, that’s all I’m thinking about.

It’s easy to get caught up in life, the finances, the success ladder, and the endless list of things we’re supposed to do and accomplish. Before you know it, you’re overwhelmed.

For me, being in a wild place is presence. It’s adventure. It’s living in its purest and simplest form. And, honestly, I’m addicted to it. I need it. Monthly, weekly, even daily.

That’s why I chose this career path.

Or, maybe it chose me. I’ve lived life driven by passion, and passion has brought me outside and on the water doing what I love. And, I don’t intend on stopping anytime soon.

Living life centered around the outdoors and adventure isn’t always easyand it's especially hard on my wardrobe. That’s why I’m blessed to have 3BIRD on my back ... quality threads that keep me pushing the limits of adventure.
